ABOUT F IS FOR DANCE

F is For Dance was founded in Perth, Australia in 2014 by Grace Horneman, who spotted a gap in the market while planning her sister’s hens party. And so, F is For Dance was born!

Now, we know what you’re thinking – dance doesn’t start with “F.” So, what does the “F” stand for? For us, it represents everything we believe dance should be: Fearless, Fierce, Feminine, Fabulous and most importantly, Fun.

OUR STORY

  1. 2019
    Under Grace’s leadership, FIFD grew in Perth and Sydney until I joined the team in 2019 as an instructor. From the very first party, I fell in love with the brand and the magic we created for brides and their friends.
  2. 2020
    I stepped into the role of Perth Bookings Manager — then like many small businesses, FIFD was put on pause during COVID.
  3. 2022
    When the world opened up again, I relaunched FIFD as Owner & Director in July 2022. Within three months we expanded in Melbourne, Brisbane & Gold Coast.
  4. 2023
    By early 2023 we went international with parties in Christchurch, Wellington & Auckland — and by the end of 2023 we were dancing in Adelaide.
  5. 2025
    In 2025 we launched in Canberra.

My vision is for myself and my incredible team of instructors to dance with as many brides as possible — bringing the laughter, energy and joy that make a hens party truly unforgettable.

As the owner of F is For Dance, I pride myself on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring every group has an amazing experience with us from the first enquiry to the final bow.
